Buckeye Santas February 10, 2018 Minutes
Meeting called to attention @12:10 with introductions of Founding members. Then New Members present along with guest were introduced. We had a great crowd present with 56 members and 4 guests. It was also decided the room is getting too small for our group and we will be in the larger room on one of the ends next month. Look for our banner. February birthdays and anniversaries were also shared.
Prayers were given by our Chaplain Bob Long.
Old business brought up: Penny Lynch owed $150 for assisting Ron Burgess in taking our pictures at the October meeting.(need to get with Ron to make sure he has your email address to send pics to you)
New business: there are scams going around to separate grandparents from their money! Requests, purportedly from older grand-kids, asking grandparents to send money to get them out of trouble, are in reality just scams to send Grandparent's money to some phony account.
March 18th/19th Santa Claus Museum and Village will honor 70th Anniversary Hall of Fame Santa Jim Yellig
Name Tags were brought up and Santa Pat Morgan will look into them as well as additional Santa Stickers.

It has also been brought to my attention that some members on our mailing list have NOT received our emailed communications. For that reason, I will post, below, the MOST RECENT three dates and general topic of each communication issued from the Webmaster's mailing list. Please let me know if you are NOT receiving these:
Email sent 2/6 re: meeting, jobs, photos
Email sent 2/12 re: Inventionasium job
Email sent 3/7 re: meeting, jobs, photos
Christmas is still many months away and already we are receiving JOB REQUESTS. Last year more than 150 job requests were made available to Buckeye Santas through our job posting services. This number does not include all those jobs that were passed off to each other without having gone through the Job Coordinator, nor does that number reflect the number of potential bookings that may arise from that one notice!
If you want to be included in the mailings of available Santa jobs, it is incumbent upon you to make sure that your 2018 membership in the Buckeye Santas is updated, current, as required by our governing documents.
Please get ALL your paperwork to our Secretary ASAP!
This will also ensure your photo posting on our Meet Our Members web page. (if we don't have one, please forward your best photo to our webmaster)
Thank you, sincerely, for visiting our web page. Your comments, suggestions,
and complaints will be gladly received at our email address: Santa@BuckeyeSantas.com
Please be aware that much of our original site is still under review and re-construction, but we will be sure to read all the mail and do our best to bring forth a great web presence!
