One of the many fun activities we had yesterday at Castle Noel included 'Lemons for Leukemia Challenge', an initiative to raise awareness for Leukemia. Lemons were passed out to all the Santa’s and Mrs Klaus’. They 'sucked and puckered' for Leukemia, which was covered by the Akron Beacon Journal Click here “The most Santa’s sucking on Lemons for Leukemia”.
We extend this challenge to all other Santa chapters.
The news media were there and some links have also been posted to our Facebook page.
But now, I'm looking forward to our next meeting (June 9, 2018) that will be held at Prairie Oaks Park. Here is the Park's website if you would like to take a peek! Click here
Their address for your GPS: 3225 Plain City-Georgesville Rd, West Jefferson OH 43162 (it is off I-70 and Rt 142) with ample parking, no steps and roofed shelter house with bathrooms very close. We plan to have members bring dishes to share (sign up sheet available and details will be sent in an email) and The Buckeye Santas will provide chicken.
Also, this will be a great time to bring gently worn Santa and Mrs Claus apparel no longer needed (or too small) to either sell, trade, swap, or barter.
We look forward to seeing everyone and new guests are welcome.
