BUCKEYE SANTA MINUTES FOR JUNE 9, 2018
There are no minutes for May since we met at Castle Noel on May 12th, but there were many pics taken and lots of fun was had by all.
We all participated in a Lemon Sucking For Alzheimer Awareness.
June 9th Picnic was called to order by President Mike Smith at 11:11am. Chaplain Bob Long led us in prayer.
Founding members were recognized. There were no guests and 26 members attended the picnic. Birthdays, anniversaries and prayer requests were recognized.
Secretary report: currently have 97 members complete with 11 members having incomplete information.
Treasury update: picnic expense $268.94, Dues $30, Leftover Chicken sales: $70. Leaves us about $1980.00
No old business discussed except for Hall of Fame Community Parade July 22 @1pm. Please contact Santa John Seidel: Santa@countrycornersanta.com if interested in going.
New business: discussion on the raising of dues to $25.00 per year for members (includes Santa & Mrs. Claus). That issue will be voted on at July meeting.
Also decided that the August Round Table will be a BROWN BAG LUNCH for each participant to bring their own food. And, if any would like to also bring something to share with others, that is encouraged. Ice Tea, Lemonade, and Water will be provided.
Santas Bob Long and Don Beck gave a GREAT presentation on CPR. Santa Don gave all a CPR 30:2 for their key chains. Very informative demonstration. Thanks guys. Just remember “HEY HEY ARE YOU OK??”

July meeting to be held Saturday July 14th at Golden Corral Rt161/Sawmill Rd at 10:30. REMINDER that we are still trying to comprise a list for suits, gloves, belts, boots, etc., to assist new members that may need to purchase these items. Please send merchant names to Secretary Nancy so that our list can be updated.
DON'T FORGET our August 11, 2018 meeting will be our annual Round Table event at Harvest Assembly of God Church. If there is a particular subject that you would like discussed please let Santa Mike know. 1) If you want to be included in the mailings of available Santa jobs, it is incumbent upon you to make sure that your 2018 membership in the Buckeye Santas is updated, current, as required by our governing documents. Please get ALL your paperwork to our Secretary ASAP! This will also ensure your photo posting on our Meet Our Members web page. (if we don't have one, please forward your best photo to our webmaster)
